I’m originally from the UK, migrated to NZ over thirty years ago – gosh that’s a long time ago!! In the 70’s through to 2003 we lived in mighty Auckland, the sprawling, spread out city of over a million mixed nationalities that makes up the people of New Zealand. Then we decided to move. When I say we, I mean the entire famn damily. Me, my girls, my mother, my father, two cats and a whole lot of second hand furniture and nick-nacks. Now we live, en famille, on the Kapiti Coast, hour north of Wellington, with our feet in the ocean and our house built on a sand-dune. The views are terrific but the winds, when they blow from the south, are just bone-chilling. Mind you, Orca’s cruising off the beach on Easter Sunday makes up for a great deal *grin*

Hi Louise,
You’ll no doubt guess who I am but having logged on to your blog, I just had to reply to it!
It’s absolutely fascinating to read, to be able to get into your mind as to why and how you write.
Of course I’m already familiar with your work and they have definately been an inspiration to me. And you are so kind about my attempts…even though they aren’t particularly brilliant. But then as you have said, write because you enjoy it and if only one other person like it well, it a bonus!
Keep up the good work. Look forward to logging on regularly to your blog.
Regards
Sue
Yay, my first comment. Thank you Sue, your warm comments are really appreciated. I can’t guarantee anything mind bogglingly riveting, but hope it will be vaguely interesting.
cheers
Louise
